BIM : Building Information Modeling
BIM: BIM stands for "Building Information Modeling" or "Building Information Model".
This is a rich digital model of a physical building, 90% near to reality.
BIM model (2D Geometry + 3D Geometry + Documents + Data) can be used by the design team to design the building, the construction team to model the construction of the building and then the building owner to manage the facility throughout its life with BIM 4D and 5D.
4D (TIME): Term used to describe the linkage of a schedule to a model, essentially turning on model elements in the order in which they are built or constructed. (Simulation).
5D (COST): Term used to describe the linkage of estimating software to a model. Element quantities are downloaded from the model database and imported directly into estimating software.
We are providing Engineering design and BIM services in all LODs, and LOD stands for level of detailing or Level of development for Engineering design, which has been classified by the American institute of architects (AIA) in BIM Protocol (E202):
LOD 100 Schematic or Conceptual Modeling
LOD 200 Basic Engineering or Modeling
LOD 300 Detailed Engineering or Modeling
LOD 400 Construction Engineering or Fabrication & shop drawings
